Introduction to Diane Rose: Why Am I Running for Political Office?
When I look in the mirror, I see you, which motivates my candidacy. Whether you’re the Mother trying to get your kids to a good school, or a woman working hard in hopes of getting promoted, or a young person about to graduate from College and wondering what’s next, or an older person like me prayerful that your income will meet your needs, and you can stay healthy. We all, regardless of age, want to do so well whatever well means to you. Though we may come from different places and speak different languages, we are and want the same things. Quality Life!
So, I ask, aren’t we tired of party politics and their empty promises? Whether you vote for one party or another, your circumstances often don't improve. That’s why I am running independently, aiming for real results, not just party alignment. My goal is to elevate voices and achieve tangible outcomes for District 21 Queens and beyond.
As a retired psychotherapist, non-profit executive, single parent, grandmother, and woman of faith, I understand struggle and success. I know how to draft effective policies and implement them in a manner that achieves real outcomes! As such, I believe it's time to dream big again. Together, with the right leadership, we can dream big again for everyone.

- Decrease the Long Waiting List for Senior Housing
- Increase Meaningful Cultural and Recreation Space

- Advocate or Wellness Centers and Meeting Spaces
- Higher Culturally Competent Healthcare Professionals

- Establish Meaningful Relationships with local police and fire deparments
- Create Community Watch Teams that includes the above
- Legalize Scooter Drivers and Delivery Personel
Beginning with getting Dr. Rose on the Ballot, together, we will weave growth and development into the fabric of our community.
